Overview of City-Based Programs

Using City-Based Programs

At a minimum, every city has a service that provides door-to-door or curb-to-curb trips for seniors and people with disabilities. City-based programs are generally available to residents age 18 and older with a verified disability, residents who are ADA paratransit-certified (or awaiting certification), and/or residents age 80 and older (some programs have lower age limits). To apply, complete the City-Based Paratransit Services Application. Download applications or complete application online.

The Quick Guide will direct you to the city-based program in your area. Each city-based program offers a unique package of services. The table below provides a description of all the different types of services.
