Wheelchair Van Program

Available to Berkeley residents who are 18 years or older, East Bay Paratransit certified, and travel by wheelchair.

Group Trips

Eligible to seniors participating in City of Berkeley senior
centers.

Subsidized Taxi Program

Available to Berkeley residents who are:

  • 70 years and older
  • East Bay Paratransit certified and 18 years or older

GoGoGrandparent

GoGoGrandparent is a call center that arranges rides with Uber or Lyft. Rides are available to Berkeley residents who are:

  • 70 years and older, OR
  • 18 years or older and East Bay Paratransit certified

Travel Training

In collaboration with United Seniors of Oakland and Alameda County, BRSD hosts several travel training opportunities in March, May, August and November. The trainings provide information on how to safely and successfully navigate public transportation such as AC Transit and BART.
