AC Transit’s Wheelchair Marking and Tether Strap Program identifies and marks key securement points on all types of mobility aids to increase accessibility of buses and to support Bus Operators in performing safe and proper wheelchair securement.

FASTER (Fast Accessible Safe Transportation and Emergency Repair) is a free transportation service that helps individuals when their wheelchair, scooter, or other mobility device breaks down. FASTER technicians can help troubleshoot broken devices over the phone, meet for on-site repairs, and make sure individuals get home safely.
